Living on the banks of the Brisbane River provides opportunity for connecting with nature on a daily basis in a subtropical climate.
Our design for River House aims to bring the landscape up within the site through it's 'C' shape floor plan layout & site masterplan.

At the streetfront, the house is intentionally elegant in its form. The concrete planters & warm timber materials have been designed on the upper level in 2 horizontal lengths to give the impression of a 'hovering' building form.
The vertical battening to the street references the curving valance screens often see on older Queenslander houses.
