Outlook - 3D View 1

A new Architectural home designed around a central courtyard in the leafy Brisbane suburb of Bardon.

The brief called for a bold street presence, a variation in ceiling heights & a 10-person dining space for dinner parties & entertaining. The robust concrete material is softened by curving it as a planter edge that wraps the courtyard space & celebrates the outdoor living spaces.

The home has been designed for subtropical living, incorporating hanging gardens to surround the courtyard. The courtyard is a place where the kids can play & be easily seen from the Kitchen & Living spaces.

What our clients are saying...

Our clients for Lower Bowen House

"After some time searching for an Architect that understood our vision for our bespoke New Farm development, we decided to work with Folar Studio for our initial concepts.

We have found FOLAR to be very professional and informative for our consultations, & as our project is a major renovation, we have been very impressed with James and his team on presenting us with several design options, for the unique combination of a 1925 home and a 1950's brick building at the rear of our property".
