FOLAR Studio is an Architectural practice led by Registered Architect, James Foley. James has over 18 years of experience at some of Australia's most highly regarded and award-winning Architectural practices.
James saw an opportunity to offer his skills exclusively by setting up his own design-led practice, currently serving Brisbane, Sunshine & Gold Coast as well as northern NSW.

With experience spanning across Residential, Multi-residential, Retail-Commercial and Industrial office project typologies, James is able to demonstrate the value proposition that an Architect can bring to the table.
His work has also been published internationally, following his competition entry in the eVolo Future Skyscraper competition.

The design approach of the practice aspires to deliver a functional, bold, confident style of architecture.
There is always a focus on the best possible design outcome for the Client, as well as awareness of cost efficiencies.

FOLAR also strategically integrates Interior Design at an early stage of each project to achieve premium design outcomes for Clients.

James was privileged to be selected as a 2023 Finalist in the Business News Australia Young Entrepreneur Awards alongside some great business founders.
Award winners are selected by a panel of judges who evaluate the nominees based on their financial performance, innovation, community impact, vision, and entrepreneurial spirit.

A National winner is then selected, this is in the process of being judged now.
