Located amongst the beautiful landscape of North Stradbroke Island, the design for this site called for a building that responded to its coastal context.
A lightweight material palette of timber battening, textured grey fibre cement sheet & expressed structural elements has been proposed as a response to the nostalgia of the Australian beach shack vernacular.
The front 3 apartments are full floor & have direct beach access via a meandering sandy path. The rear 2 apartments are 2-storey & overlook a central pool & garden area.
