An exciting new family home on a narrow 10 metre wide site in the inner city suburb of Red Hill, Brisbane.
The site slopes 5 metres from its highest point at the rear, down to the street - proving to be one of the main challenges for the project.
Rather than locate the pool in the backyard, we decided to position it down the side of the site so it is always visible while in the living areas.
A large void over the Dining space with view to the pool enhances the entertaining & family dining experience.
The interior is encased in a warm timber material which ties-in with the polished concrete floor & dark accents throughout the home.
The ceiling is stepped & sculpted to enhance the experience in these spaces.
